Private AP Exams Tutoring

Since 2005, we have helped numerous students improve their confidence and scores on the AP exams. Our clients have even included other professionals in the field of education - teachers, Ivy League professors, and members of the Princeton University administration. Our exceptional private AP tutors will create a customized approach tailored specifically for your needs. After each session, you'll receive a detailed progress report to track your child's improvement (view a real recap from one of our AP US History tutoring sessions).

What Parents Say about Our AP Tutors

A parent contacted us to help his daughter prepare for the AP Calculus exam. They wanted to focus on the material from the AP test plus additional concepts such as series, parametric equations, and polar coordinates. We matched the student with Tulio, a molecular biology major at Princeton University who had been tutoring since high school and had done very well on the test:

“Thanks Greg… The math tutoring certainly worked out well for her – she got a 5 on the AP Calculus AB test!”

What further differentiates us from the competition is our genuine desire to help your child succeed. Both Kevin and I started tutoring in high school and continued throughout our college years at Princeton and beyond. We chose to tutor because it was extremely rewarding and something we truly enjoyed.

Princeton Tutoring was born out of the early successes of our former clients and our desire to provide high-quality tutoring to other families. We understand better than most what parents are looking for, what children need, and which qualities make the best tutors.

Thank you for considering us. We look forward to speaking with you and working with your child to help fulfill his or her academic potential.

Sincerely,

Greg Wong Kevin Wong

Why Do Some Students Struggle with AP Courses and Exams?

Advanced Placement courses are administered by the College Board (the same company behind the SAT). These are college-level courses provided by your high school. High scores on the test may give you college credit, as well as help you stand out in the admissions process.

Unless students choose to take courses at a local university, AP courses will be the most difficult courses they encounter in high school. There is more material to master, at deeper levels, and students will be expected to learn a lot of it on their own due to the sheer amount of ground that needs to be covered.

We have helped many students in many of the more popular AP courses, including Biology, Calculus AB/BC, Chemistry, English Language, English Literature, European History, French, Macroeconomics, Microeconomics, Physics B/C, Spanish Language, Statistics, Government, and US History.

Our tutors are not only subject matter experts in the various fields, but have performed well on these same tests. Many of our tutors have received AP Scholar awards for recognition of their achievement on the AP exams.
