As a tutor, I enjoy helping students achieve their academic goals while making learning fun! I have previous experience with teaching and mentoring students as a peer learning assistant in an Ecology and Evolution class and as a Resident Assistant for the Honors College Dormitory at New Jersey Institute of Technology. I have also worked with special needs children as a camp counselor at Muscular Dystrophy Association summer camp.
I’ve helped students of varying skill levels individually and in small groups master both simple and complex topics by providing studying tactics and helping them understand the big picture of ideas presented.
In addition, I will also be a medical student this upcoming fall so I will be able to guide any students who wish to follow the same career path as me. I am most comfortable teaching any subjects related to Biology (Genetics, Ecology and Evolution, Anatomy and Physiology, Cell Biology, etc.), Chemistry, English (reading and writing), and Mathematics.
In my free time, I enjoy traveling, playing sports, and exploring the outdoors! I am also a certified Emergency Medical Technician! I am obsessed with dogs and animals in general and would one day love to volunteer for a non profit organization focused on helping endangered species.
I am very excited to tutor and make learning as fun as it can be!
