Education has always been an important part of my life, because I truly believe we can fix a majority of the worlds problems through innovating education. This idea has led me to pursue a number of teaching roles to further understand and address the gaps in our education system. I’ve been a teaching assistant at one of NYCs only bilingual schools (P.S.184), junior instructor teaching kids to code, and am currently building programming, engineering, and entrepreneurship curricula for multiple learning centers. I believe students can only truly learn by reaching their own level of understanding through inquisitive thought and by embracing failure. It is up to the mentor to serve only as a catalyst in this process.
