I am studying Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering and have a strong background in math and science. Additionally, I am considering pursuing a certificate in French; foreign language is something that gets me really excited, and I hope to study abroad during my time at Princeton.
I have two younger siblings and have always enjoyed helping them with their work and being able to see things click in their minds as I explain concepts. I love learning and want to help younger students come to love it as well. It is incredibly rewarding to witness the improvements over time.
For the past three years, I have been volunteering at The Cara Program in Chicago, helping hard-to-place adults find employment. Because many of them do not have an education or experience with computers, my job has been to proof read, answer questions about online applications, and teach them how to preform basic computer functions. This experience has given me good base in communication, patience, and dedication, which I believe are assets when tutoring.
I have been rowing for the past five years and love being a part of a team and staying active. In my spare time, I enjoy to cooking, baking, running, and reading.
