Hello all! My name is Lillian, and I am an undergraduate student studying environmental engineering at Harvard University. As a tutor, I enjoy the challenge of approaching difficult topics from all angles. I believe that in teaching, effective communication is a powerful tool to encourage growth. When tutoring, I enjoy teaching students of all ages. I have a particular interest in math, from elementary level skills through calculus. I am an avid writer, and enjoy teaching English and reading comprehension, as well as teaching writing skills and editing essays. Furthermore, I enjoy Spanish, physics, biology, and environmental science. In high school, I enjoyed taking part in High Powered Rocketry, and led my rocketry team in designing and building our school’s first ever Supersonic Rocket! Outside of the classroom, I like to spend my time outdoors. I am an avid backpacker and hiking enthusiast, and I love running, camping, and playing the Banjo. In the future, I hope to enter into a career where I can combine my interest in applied science and engineering with my passion for environmental activism.
