Kyle

Hi everyone! My name is Kyle, and I am a Columbia University graduate with degrees in Computer Science-Mathematics and Psychology. There, I served as a peer undergraduate tutor for calculus, a teaching assistant for linear algebra, an ESL assistant teacher, and an elementary school reading mentor.

After graduating, I completed a Fulbright English Teaching Fellowship, where I independently taught English in Thailand during the 2020-2021 academic year. Currently, I tutor mathematics and coach youth wrestling and jiu-jitsu.

I have tutored many students in various math subjects ranging from pre-algebra to calculus, as well as SAT math test prep.

In all my experience tutoring and teaching, I always enjoy the moment when students grasp something they didn’t understand before. Seeing that “ah-ha” moment in my students’ eyes is what makes tutoring so fulfilling for me.
