Hi! My name is Kara, and I am a Master of Public Health degree student at Tulane University focusing on social, behavioral, and population sciences. I recently completed my undergraduate studies at Princeton University in May of 2021. At Princeton, I studied neuroscience and global health. Learning about the brain and how it affects behavior and health is one of my passions. I have always enjoyed school and learning new things, so I hope to ignite that love of learning with the students that I work with as a tutor. My approach to tutoring incorporates creativity, adaptability, and a dedication to the content and the students’ success. I am most comfortable tutoring STEM subjects, psychology, ACT test prep, and SAT test prep. Outside of school and work I love to play sports, explore the great outdoors, and play the saxophone!
