I am passionate about ensuring that everyone can receive an achieving and fulfilling education and also have five diverse years of experience in this field.
Previously, I tutored at my old Middle School, Our Lady of the Assumption. While there, I was tasked with tutoring basic math subjects such as long division and long multiplication. Furthermore, I was the previous Math Department Head of the IB Tutoring Club at Cajon High School. I covered higher level math topics such as algebra, geometry, trigonometry, and calculus.
These experiences have taught me how to communicate with students and teach in a manner so that I am not just rephrasing what their instructor said, but rather, presenting various new ways for one to understand the concept at hand.
Additionally, my past career in the California Cadet Corps (a high school military program similar to JROTC) has taught me valuable team-building skills along with organization and time management.
