Dara

Hello! My name is Dara, and I have extensive experience tutoring students across various subjects, particularly in STEM fields like physics, computer science, and mathematics. Over the years, I’ve worked with students from middle school to college, helping them build strong foundational skills and improve their coursework and confidence. I’m passionate about education because I love seeing students grasp concepts they once thought difficult and develop problem-solving abilities.

I’m exceptionally skilled at breaking down complex topics into more digestible, approachable parts, and I strive to create an engaging learning environment that caters to each student’s unique needs. My background in Electrical and Computer Engineering, coupled with my studies in computing and robotics, allows me to tutor various technical subjects comfortably.

I’m continuing the research I began over the summer in the Biomechatronics Lab at MIT, focusing on enhancing prosthetic control systems. I plan to pursue a career in research at the intersection of robotics, computer vision, and AI.

Outside of academics, I enjoy cycling, gaming, and playing piano. I’m committed to helping students achieve their academic goals and develop a love for learning that will carry them forward in their educational journey.
