My name is Clayton, and I am currently a Yale college student! I am a Molecular, Cellular, and Developmental Biology major.
I joined Princeton Tutoring because of my interest in education. I love teaching students about the topics that intellectually invigorate me. I have prior tutoring experience in various Yale organizations (Yale Education & Tutoring Initiative, JZ-AMP, Community Health Educators), where I worked with students from the New Haven Public School system. Over the past couple of years, I have continuously learned how to become a better educator. Teaching students during the pandemic was especially difficult, but I have gained valuable experience with online instruction.
Given my interests, I am currently considering careers in medicine or education (or both)! Outside of classes and tutoring, I have worked in molecular biology laboratories, volunteered at the hospital, danced in my free time, and watched my fair share of Netflix originals. I also speak Spanish, so that always is useful. Please reach out if you’d like to set up a tutoring session with me! I can’t wait to meet my future students.
