Hi! My name is Charan and I’m currently a graduate student at Columbia University studying electrical engineering with concentrations in AI and neuroengineering. I did my undergraduate studies at Rice University where I double majored in neuroscience and ECE. I have several years of experience helping students with college admissions, test prep, and math and science at the high school and AP level — I very much enjoy teaching at all levels, from elementary to undergraduate topics. Outside of tutoring and school, I love working out, drumming, playing video games with friends, and reading. I also love travelling and visiting new cities and am always looking for good recommendations. Career-wise, I’m very interested in entrepreneurship and biotech, and hope to eventually create a neurotechnology company that helps improve how humans and robots interact. But I also have a ton of other interests including space, animals, learning about new cultures, etc. and love to connect with others over these topics.
