I have a great deal of experience tutoring students of all skill levels in a variety of contexts and subjects. I have worked with students in private formal SAT math classes, tutored students privately in subjects ranging from AP Chemistry testing to SAT math tutoring, and interned full-time in the college center of a struggling school district tutoring students in everything from essay writing skills to US history.
I have always thoroughly enjoyed tutoring. I find working with students one-on-one extremely rewarding, especially when I am able to demystify concepts that previously frustrated them. My clients have always told me that I make challenging subjects very approachable and am able to break down complicated subject into smaller, more understandable pieces, and my students have always expressed how much they enjoyed their time working with me. In addition to helping students understand subjects and prepare them for testing, I take pride in the great relationships I build with my students.
