Hi! My name is Akhil; I’m from Bethel Park, PA, and through my school’s NHS tutoring program I coached students in a wide range of subject matter and helped students who faced difficulties in a variety of courses, including various levels of Math, Chemistry, Physics, Reading, Writing, and SAT/ACT prep. I have also enjoyed tutoring TOEFL/IELTS students.
I love tutoring because of the insight it helps me gain and refine while helping those I teach. Through my teaching experiences, I enjoyed adapting my methods of instruction and tailoring my teaching to each students’ needs. The versatility and subjectivity of the teaching and learning experience is something I truly value.
In my spare time, I play tennis, read, and tutor. As far as a career path goes, I’m currently thinking of becoming an engineer or a management consultant (two very different fields, I know). Fun fact about me: I know five languages!
