After L quit the Lehigh tennis team and turned premed, he made the Lehigh Dean's list two semesters in a row. He elevated his GPA from 1.9 to 3.2, founded a new premed club and led a service trip of Lehigh students to Guatemala. L continues to do well at Cornell's Pre-Health Post Bacc program, expecting to earn A- and B+ this semester in his 6 classes. I wish to thank you for your roll in his development. He even described himself as a "nerd" today. I characterized him as a jock elite athlete in high school and early in college. He certainly has a shot at a great medical school."
