Hi! My name is Shoshana. I graduated with highest honors and Phi Beta Kappa from Brown University with a degree in math and computer science. I love teaching, and I have over 6 years of experience under my belt. I love building relationships with my students and helping them think about their futures, and I care deeply about providing a safe environment for students to ask questions, make mistakes, and share genuinely where they are at in their understanding.
My teaching expertise is in computer science, math, and writing (especially college essay support). I have taught 8 different courses at the undergraduate level at top US universities in math, computer science, history, and philosophy, and I have led two different STEM outreach programs for high schoolers. I also have tutoring experience across ages 10–60.
I ran a college application mentorship program for 2 years. During that time, I helped students get into top US schools. I also have taught college-level writing at UC Berkeley.
Outside of teaching, I am an artist. I am currently pursuing my masters in filmmaking!
