Hi! I’m Mai (she/her), a multilingual educator, scholar, community organizer, and musician from Cambridge, MA. I graduated magna cum laude from Harvard University with a BA in Comparative Literature and a Secondary in Educational Studies. My passion for research has taken me to Vietnam, Taiwan, and France, where I’ve been fortunate to receive several grants for my work.
In 2024, I was honored to win the Bowdoin Prize for my essay, “Language in a Loop: Literature(s) of Vietnamese Diasporic Identity.” I also had the incredible opportunity to study abroad in Buenos Aires, Argentina.
My dream is to establish a free multilingual community library paired with a performing arts center in my hometown, fostering a vibrant space for creativity and learning.

Other Interests & Activities: At Harvard, I volunteered at a local elementary school as a teacher in a dual-language program. I was also involved in the Wave (literary magazine), the Argentine Tango Club, Jazz Combo Initiative, the New Music Ensemble, and Harvard Radcliffe Collegium-Musicum (choir).
