Hi! My name is Anisha and I am a graduate of UC Berkeley with a B.A. in Molecular and Cell Biology and a double minor in Journalism and Science and Math Education. I am currently pursuing a master’s degree in Media, Medicine, and Health at Harvard Medical School. I am passionate about crafting novel public health interventions through storytelling and using creative educational strategies to reach diverse audiences. I’ve tutored a wide variety of subjects, ranging from college essay writing to AP biology to kindergarten reading comprehension and beyond. In my free time, I enjoy spending time outdoors, watching new movies, and being with my friends.

Other Interests & Activities: At UC Berkeley, I was the senior producer for CalTV (UC Berkeley's online TV station), editor-in-chief for Undergraduate Laboratory @ Berkeley, project manager for the University Health Services outreach team, and sports medicine intern for Cal Football (UC Berkeley's Division 1 football team). In addition, I was the community manager for The Berkeley Group Property Management, volunteered with the Imago Dei Street Clinic, was a student teacher at Rosa Parks Elementary School, Willard Middle School, and Berkeley High School, and also acted as the Recruitment Technology Chair for my sorority (Kappa Kappa Gamma). I currently intern with the Policy and Advocacy Team of the Program in Global Surgery and Social Change at Harvard Medical school, write health education scripts for the Afghan Clinic, and conduct cognitive neuroscience research through the Cognition and Action Lab at UC Berkeley.
