Hello! My name is William, and I am currently an undergraduate at Harvard studying astrophysics. My strongest topics are physics, calculus, algebra (including linear algebra), U.S. history and government, and test prep (ACT in particular)–but I am happy to tutor other topics as well!
For my last two years of high school, I tutored math for elementary to high school-aged students, and I also volunteered as a tutor at a local elementary school and taught calculus to classmates throughout high school. Through my tutoring opportunities, I have hundreds of hours of experience teaching counting to single-variable calculus, as well as English and reading, to students of many backgrounds, including students who are far behind or far ahead, and students on the spectrum.
Watching my students grow and become more confident has motivated me to continue my tutoring work throughout college, and to pursue a university teaching position in astronomy or physics after college/graduate school. Outside of school and work, I love to climb mountains, stargaze, hike, travel, play basketball, write, and bike!
