Hi! My name is Isabelle, and I am a Computer Science Master’s student at MIT. Born in New York and raised in Accra, Ghana, I grew up in a family of seven. Growing up, my love for maths and science led me to participating in math Olympiads and engineering summer camps, eventually landing me at the International Mathematical Olympiad (IMO).
I love the thrill of algorithms design and theoretical research but also enjoy getting into the weeds of building good applications and software. Outside of work, I’m a huge outdoors person– hiking, running, zip-lining, beach sports, etc. I also enjoy reading and cooking.
