Hi! My name is Adina, and I’m an undergraduate at Rutgers University studying Biomedical Engineering. I have six younger siblings and my love for teaching started when I began to help them with their homework when I was in middle school.
I continued teaching at Rutgers as a Learning Assistant for Calculus II. While Calculus II is generally difficult for students to comprehend, by the end of each semester students had a deeper understanding of the material and found our recitations enjoyable. I also volunteered for a Rutgers Peer tutoring program, teaching Calculus I-III, Physics I-II, and Engineering Mechanics-Statics. I found these sessions especially rewarding because I was able to work with students individually and watch their progress.
In my free time I love to rock climb, swim, play guitar, and read!
