Hannah

Hi! My name is Hannah, and I am an undergraduate student at Princeton University. I am majoring in the School of Public and International Affairs, with a minor in Urban Studies. I realized my passion for teaching during my gap year, where I spent nine months working as a teaching assistant at an international school in Thailand. I loved getting to know the elementary school students and seeing their progress on topics that we covered. Since returning from Thailand, I have continued to work with young students through babysitting and informal tutoring sessions. As a tutor, I try to improve not only subject matter comprehension, but also emphasize comprehensive skill development, such as time management and setting long term goals. The subjects I tutor are French, math, economics, literature, and test prep. I see every student as a mentee, and work to make them feel as comfortable and supported as possible. At Princeton, my extracurricular activities include journalism, business, and autism awareness work. I also love to cook, and I work as a server at Jules Thin Crust Pizza!
