A graduate of Princeton University, Aly studied Geosciences, Theatre, and Vocal Performance and was awarded a Lewis Center for the Arts Outstanding Thesis Prize. Aly realized her passion for teaching during a summer spent in rural China with Princeton in Asia where she helped run a summer English intensive for college. What she loves most about teaching is the opportunity it provides to connect with her students and understand how each one learns best. She takes a holistic approach to learning and believes that tutoring is not just about preparing for a test, but developing a set of tools and techniques that students can bring with them into college and beyond. A National Merit Finalist and National AP scholar, Aly scored 5s on nine AP tests in high school. Aly is passionate about the scientific and the literary. She loves talking about great books and helping students find a love of reading. She tutors test prep (ACT/SAT/ISEE), College Essay writing, Math, Chemistry, Biology and French.
