David

I've been tutoring since high school where I tutored my peers and younger students. I primarily tutored chemistry, but I also enjoy tutoring other sciences, math, and economics.

One of my favorite things in life is problem solving, which explains a lot about me. It's pretty much the reason I do anything in my life. Most of my activities put particular importance on solving problems either directly (answering a question or figuring out how to climb a route) or indirectly (how should I interpret the music in front of me).

Another word to describe me is curious. I've been lucky enough to have teachers in my life who have a serious passion for what they teach and who have been able to successfully pass that passion on to me. The world is truly amazing, and the things we learn can help us understand what makes it so. I want to do other people the same favor my teachers did for me, which is why I've always liked tutoring. I like to give people a genuine appreciation for what makes our world beautiful.

As far as long-term goals are concerned, I want to attend an MD/PhD and perform medical research as a profession.
