During my schooling and the process of applying to numerous prestigious colleges without the help of additional mentors, tutors and academies, I realized the importance and value of having that extra guidance to achieve one’s goals that can truly change one's life.
After achieving success in high school academics, the SAT's, and college acceptances with no consulting or counseling other than the strong support from my family, I was compelled to reach out to fellow high-schoolers: younger students who, like me, had the aspirations to achieve academic success and attend world-class institutions but were not surrounded by the people willing to help them along this often arduous journey. I offered valuable advice and tips that I had accrued from my personal experiences of test-taking and applying to U.S. colleges. Additionally, I offered tutoring on the SAT and SAT Subject tests in the sciences, Math II, and French, in addition to school subjects spanning English, foreign languages, and statistics.
All the students I tutored and mentored were able to become the first rank in school in the respective subjects I had tutored them in, and some were even able to achieve scholarships to U.S. colleges.
I wish that by tutoring, I can become a a valuable part of a young student's journey to achieving their goals.
