Elisabeth

I am a physics major from London with an interest in astronomy and cosmology. I've always had a passion for natural sciences and a curiosity for the way the world works. In 2018 I conducted research with a professor at the Institute for Astronomy in Hawaii on asteroids and their potential for mining in order to provide fuel and resources to space stations. In addition to studying physics, I have always enjoyed playing soccer and other team sports and played for my high school varsity team for 3 years in addition to competing on my high school track and field team. In the future I plan to go into the industry or perhaps become a researcher in astrophysics, although I am still undecided. In the past I have tutored students in physics and math and have good listening and communication skills. As someone who has benefited from tutoring in high-school, I understand, first hand, the importance of a patient and communicative tutor and how much of an impact this can have on a student's enjoyment of the subject at school.
