I love teaching of all forms. Starting as a camp counselor of kids aged 7-14, and later as an eighth and ninth grade basketball coach, I learned that I was passionate about mentoring young people. I became involved in tutoring as part of being a TA for a class in high school to help students at high-risk of not passing a mandatory math standardized test in Massachusetts – but after working with 20 students over two years, all of my students passed. I became a private tutor, often working with past students of mine from my class. Experiences like that make me love teaching and want to continue it into the future. At Princeton, I’m a member and officer of the Club Rugby team, and I participate in many teaching-related service organizations like Matriculate and El Centro. Academically, I am thinking about majoring in the Woodrow Wilson School and am very interested in International Relations.
