Hello! I’m Ann and I’m a current PhD student at Yale University, where I am the first student to pursue a combined doctoral degree in Italian Studies and Women’s, Gender, and Sexuality Studies. I graduated Magna Cum Laude from Princeton University, where I majored in French and Italian. I have tutored numerous students, ranging from age 6 to adult, in a variety of subjects, including Italian language, computer science (java), and creative writing. During the pandemic, I also taught a computer science seminar online to over 300 students. I am extremely passionate about languages and literature, but I also enjoy quantitative reasoning and interdisciplinary modes of study. As a tutor, I pride myself on creating an environment of trust and mutual respect with my students which allows them to thrive. I am upbeat, conversational, and growth-minded.
