Linh

My name is Linh, and I was born and raised in Dallas, Texas. I am an undergraduate student at Princeton University, where I am currently studying International Relations Politics on the Pre-Med Track, also pursuing a Certificate in the Global Health Program. I have a wide variety of interests that range from medicine to the humanities to music. Fun fact about me: I play the cello, piano, and ukulele!

During my last year of high school, I worked at Mathnasium, a local tutoring location in my hometown that implemented both group settings and personalized curricula for students of all ages across a wide range of subjects. This experience allowed me to see how education is a critical facet of individual and social well-being and cemented my desire to make education and the dissemination of knowledge one of my top priorities as a member of society.

Aside from math, I consider myself to be very strong in English (literature, grammar, writing practices, critical reading) and general chemistry (particularly stoichiometry). However, as I have had a significant amount of experience working with younger students in elementary and middle school, I am usually flexible enough to cater to simpler concepts and curricula in other subjects.

After undergrad, I anticipate attending medical school and studying neurosurgery. Upon the completion of my residency, I hope to spend some years as a neurosurgeon before becoming a US delegate for the World Health Organization to help create effective, long-lasting global health policies.

Overall, what drives me in life is the desire to provide aid and service to other individuals and society as a whole. I strive to reflect this value in my day-to-day life and I aim to use my role at Princeton Tutoring to accomplish this desire by providing guidance and assistance to students as they grow into active, knowledgeable members of society.
