College Admissions Test Preparation
Since 2005, we have helped students improve their confidence and test scores for college admissions, including the SAT, ACT, AP exams, and SAT II subject tests. Combined with our academic subject tutoring and college counseling services, we provide the most comprehensive program to increase your child's chances of acceptance to his or her dream college. Our clients have even included other professionals in the field of education - teachers, Ivy League professors, and members of the Princeton University administration. Whether your child is struggling or simply looking for enrichment tutoring, our exceptional private tutors will create a customized approach tailored specifically for your needs. After each session, you'll receive a detailed progress report to track your child's improvement (view a real recap from one of our SAT tutoring sessions).
What Parents Say about Our College Admissions Test Prep Tutors
“Our last SAT tutoring session with Brian was on March ninth. Our son O took the SAT on March 12th and he said he felt pretty good about it. We want to thank you for connecting us with Brian to help O with the reading & writing sections of the SAT. Brian was very helpful, communicative, and responsible and our son enjoyed meeting with him each week. We will consider using and recommending Princeton Tutoring again in the future as our experience was truly a positive one!”

The College Admissions Tests Don't Have to Be So Scary
It is very difficult for admissions officers to compare the academic performance of students from one school to the next. Different schools across the country have different curricula, levels of difficulty, number of students, resources, etc. One metric that colleges use, then, are standardized tests, which are the same whether you live in Princeton, NJ or Chicago, IL. Some of these standardized tests are required, such as the SAT, ACT, and SAT Subject Tests. Some are not required, but encouraged for high-performing students (for example, the AP tests).
We have helped countless students prepare for these exams. As with any standardized tests, our process focuses on ensuring conceptual understanding of the material combined with practice and review. Please visit our SAT, ACT, SAT Subject Tests, and AP pages for further information.
