Private Tutoring for Standardized Tests
Since 2005, we have helped students improve their confidence and test scores for private school admissions (SSAT, ISEE), college admissions (SAT, ACT), and statewide assessments (NJ ASK). Combined with our academic subject tutoring and college counseling services, we provide the most comprehensive program to increase your child’s chances of acceptance to his or her dream college. Our clients have even included other professionals in the field of education - teachers, Ivy League professors, and members of the Princeton University administration. Whether your child is struggling or simply looking for enrichment tutoring, our exceptional private tutors will create a customized approach tailored specifically for your needs. After each session, you’ll receive a detailed progress report to track your child’s improvement (view a real recap from one of our SAT tutoring sessions).
What Parents Say about Our Test Prep Tutors
Both our parents and students have benefited from the peace-of-mind that comes from working with such top-notch tutors. We think our track record speaks for itself. Here are just a few of many testimonials from happy parents.
“We just received very positive results from our daughter’s SSAT test and are very pleased at the improvement in her scores! We know it’s the result of her tutoring sessions with Stephanie, a lot of hard work and of course practice, practice, practice! Thank you.”
Parent of eighth grader, Stuart Country Day School
“Dear Greg, I wanted to let you know that it was a real pleasure for my son P to work with Alan. He found Alan very well prepared as a tutor, easy to talk to, and he learned quite a bit from him. For me, Alan was always punctual, very respectful and maintained a very good channel of communication. We are very pleased with him and we’ll continue to recommend you for SAT preparation.”
Parent of 11th grader, West Windsor Plainsboro - North
“I wanted to tell you that D really loved working with Matt through Skype. As you may recall, I was skeptical, but the Skype sessions really worked out well, and I did not have to drive her anywhere! She got a 35 on the ACT, and came out of SAT’s last weekend feeling great about it.”

Thank you for considering us. We look forward to speaking with you and working with your child to help fulfill his or her academic potential.
Standardized Test Prep Doesn't Have to Be So Painful
The goal of most of our clients is for their child to gain admission to the best school possible. This means addressing each of the major items required in the college application, which include:
- Academic Performance
- Standardized Test Scores
- Application Essays
- Extracurricular Activities/Summer Activities
- Letters of Recommendation
Our students juggle their time between schoolwork, test prep, extracurricular activities, trying to maintain some sort of social life, and sleep. Sometimes, they get so caught up with doing well on the SAT or ACT that that they lose sight of the big picture and start neglecting their academics. Or, they do the opposite, staying so focused on academics that they don’t spend enough time preparing for standardized tests.
Admissions officers use test scores to compare your child against thousands of other applicants. Doing well on these tests can result in merit scholarships and set your child apart from others. In general, the higher the score the better – though, not at the expense of academics. We don’t suggest taking any test more than three times. Students should start their preparation early and do lots of practice. With so many things going on, it’s important that they be efficient with their time.
Please contact us so we can match your child with an expert test prep tutor who will ensure that your child is making the best use of his or her time.
